From a very young age, Mina Lagarde was attracted to the plastic arts.
She thus joined different structures where she learned sculpture, modeling, glass work, etc.
She then became passionate about oil painting and its history.
Later, in Riga (LV), she followed the teaching of the artist and Professor of Fine Arts Dita LUSE. A decisive encounter.
Participates in numerous exhibitions in France (notably in Paris) and abroad (China, Brazil, Japan, Italy, Belgium, Portugal, Austria, etc.).

"I immerse myself with nostalgia in the world of childhood. In this mixture of real atmosphere and imaginary elements, I paint as one tells a story, placing my colors on the canvas like fragments of dreams.
I build my work with light as an obsession and my imagination as a guide.
Human beings and nature occupy a large place in my creations. The contrast between the theme of innocence and the violence of today's world is often my guiding thread."
